Electrics frontman Sammy Horner has a new album coming out through Word any time now. Horner has taken ideas from his series of Celtic Praise albums, and combining them with techno programming to produce what promises to be an intriguing fusion.

Having received much mainstream attention recently through her collaboration with Chicane which resulted in a hit single, Maire Brennan should release her next solo album through Word this autumn.

Word UK have released a new worship album, New Songs 2 - For The Worshipping Church featuring tracks from, among others, Johnny Markin, Chris Bowater, Trish Morgan and Tim Sherrington.
Psalmistry Prepare For A Big Year (30th Dec 1998)
The much delayed new album from dance act Psalmistry, Armchair Rebellion, is now recorded and the final production touches are being put to it before the UK release through Word Records. On the European mainland the albu, will be released on the Extreme Devotion label and it will probably have distribution in Australia and South Africa. The album has twelve tracks and will include the single "By Your Side". The group also have live dates coming up including: 23rd January, Planet Life with WWMT; 31st January in Brighton; and 6th February at Sublime in Southampton.
