Urban Militia Compete (11th Nov 2000)

Pentecost Press (07th Jun 2000)

The decision to include a local band not normally found at "Christian" events has drawn some press attention for Cheltenham's Pentecost 2000 event. The Chaos Engine, who have been invited as part of the event organisers' attempt to encourage local talent, wouldn't be drawn on their beliefs, saying simply that they "don't believe in following religion blindly" (which hopefully none of us do...). Other artists slated to appear at the event at Cheltenham Racecourse include Delirious?, our current indie of the month skinflowers, World Wide Message Tribe, Urban Militia, and Expanse.

Tidbits (12th Apr 2000)

Sibling's website was launched last week and contains a range of information on the band. Urban Militia will be headlining the Louisiana in Bristol on April 21st. They have just updated their website to include 8 live MP3s. I Know You Know the new album by Goldsmiths should finally be released over the Easter weekend. Shona Macdonald has been spending quite a bit of time in the USA recently working with Tony Loeffler. The episode of ITV's London's Burning which was to feature Delirious?'s "Come Like You Promise" has been postponed till April 23rd.

Urban Militia (15th Oct 1999)

Rock/dance crossover band Hyperdust have changed their name to Urban Militia. Now focussing more on intense dance styles, the group are working on preparing their website and some recordings.
