Tidbits (10th Sep 2001)

Sabio and Mr. E supported Dodgy on Saturday in Portsmouth. Sabio received a plug on Radio One recently when Corder Marshall (Mushroom records) described them as a hot act to watch out for. Osmium have just performed at Greenbelt and Soul Survivor and may be supporting Caroline Alexander on her next tour. Rendered release their new album on September 15th. Laura-Anne has video footage of her Greenbelt gig on her website. Macarion have a new lineup and are promising gigs and recordings soon. Formula 7 have a special offer on -- both their CDs for only 10 pounds.

Sabio Added to Dum Dums Bill (06th Dec 2000)

After a prolonged silence, Sabio (formerly Fruit) have just announced that they've been added to the bill of the Dum Dums show in Bristol on December 9th. Sabio have been busy playing showcases in their quest for a major label deal. The band will also be playing a gig at the Barfly in Camden next month.

Sabio See The Crescent (13th May 2000)

Chichester's Sabio (formerly known as Fruit) play their first London gig in quite a while at the Half Moon in Putney next weekend. The break from touring has allowed the band to prepare tracks for a new album. A release date has yet to be announced. The band still have a few copies of their "Happy Go Lucky Joe" single available for sale.
