Room 3 Festival (03rd Jan 2001)

Room 3 Records have announced plans to repeat their successful Edinburgh festival venue at this year's event. The label, originally formed to promote Nervous Passenger and now also home to Superhero and IndigoEcho are currently looking for a range of artists interested in taking part in the festival. IndigoEcho EP (20th Dec 2000)

IndigoEcho have announced that their next release will be a CD EP, again recorded with Room 3 Records. The band plan to record between January and March next year on the island "Mull", just off the coast of Scotland. The band have been approached by the website cdbaby.com about the possibility of playing a few shows in the Seattle area of the USA next summer.

Superhero Management and Recording (15th Nov 2000)

Superhero have just signed a management deal with Big Ideas, the Cardiff-based organisation which was responsible for the World Wide Message Tribe tour a few months back. The band are off to the USA in January and will spend Easter touring Norway. They hope to fit in a UK tour during the early part of 2001 too. They have spent the last few weeks working on some new songs which they hope to record early in the new year, and are currently in negotiations with Room 3 Records, Alliance Music and ICC.

Room 3 Records Recordings (06th Nov 2000)

Room 3 Records artists Nervous Passenger have started work on recording the follow-up to their [taller trees] album. The band have a lot of material ready to go down but aren't making any promises about a release date as yet. Fellow Room 3 band IndigoEcho are also beginning to think about their next album and gather material together.

Superhero Update (13th Sep 2000)

Last month's indie of the month creators Superhero have just unveiled an all new website which features an all new design as well as news, music and video clips and details of the band's online distribution arrangements for their latest album Burn and Dazzle.

Room 3, Edinburgh (20th Aug 2000)

The Room 3 Records venue on the Edinburgh festival fringe is reported to have gone well, with just one last evening to go, featuring YFriday. Last night's Robin Mark concert sold out and the label's own bands have been well received. Next stop for Room 3 is a showcase afternoon at Greenbelt.

Room 3 Websites (11th Jul 2000)

The new Room 3 Records website has just made its first appearance. Still very much under development, the site already contains details of the label's venue at the Edinburgh festival and the option to buy tickets. Very soon you'll be able to buy a wide range of merchandise through the site. Room 3 band IndigoEcho have also just finished a range of developments to their website and have launched a new set of t-shirts.

Superhero Upgrade Website (28th Jun 2000)

In the run up to the release of their new album, Superhero have added a chat room and discussion board to their website as well as relaunching their e-mailing list. The band launch Burn and Dazzle on July 15th on Room 3 Records. Look out for updates to the Room 3 Records and Nervous Passenger websites coming very soon.

Superhero Burn and Dazzle (15th Jun 2000)

The much delayed album from Superhero, Burn and Dazzle will finally launch in July, with an album release party on July 15th and an official launch on July 22nd. The launch party will include a live set from the band, competitions, food and drink, special guests, and "multimedia stuff". Check out the gig guide for more details. The band will also be taking part in the Room 3 Records events at the Edinburgh and Greenbelt festivals this summer.

Room 3 in Edinburgh (30th May 2000)

Scotland's Room 3 Records have announced some more details of the Christian arts venue they're planning for this year's Edinburgh Festival. The venue is St. George's West Church and musicians already booked include all three bands currently on Room 3, Nervous Passenger, Superhero and IndigoEcho, as well as Jennifer Knapp, Ian White, LCGC, yfriday, Martyn Joseph and Robin Mark.

Superhero Delayed (01st Mar 2000)

It seems that Superhero's powers are lacking when it comes to getting their records out on time. Burn and Dazzle's launch has been put back to mid-April. The album launch will still be in the same place.

Superhero Prepare For Launch (02nd Feb 2000)

Glasgow's Superhero are busyplanning the launch of their new album,set for release on the 4th March. The album launch will feature a set fromthe band, supported by fellow Room 3 Records act Nervous Passenger, aswell as short presentations from guest speakers. Superhero, who went fulltime only a few months ago, will spend the following months touringextensively across the UK.

Tidbits (19th Jan 2000)

Superhero have startedane-mail announcements list. Simply e-mail themto sign up. The band are currently recording an album with Room 3 Records. The RGeneration have continuedwork on their website and hope to gointo a studio soon. A new band has been signed by Movation to work alongside the WorldWide Message Tribe. They will be officially launched at the Message 2000event. Watch this space. The long-rumoured new look band index and some otherspecial developments will be here before the next Britlinks News goes tothe virtual presses.

Room 3 Showcase (10th Nov 1999)

The Indigoecho album launch at CAS in Edinburgh on December 17th has developed into a showcase for the Room 3 Records roster, as Nervous Passenger and recent signing Superhero join the band as support on the night. The Indigoecho album One will be available directly from Room 3 Records or from Virgin Megastores in Edinburgh from the 18th December.

IndigoEcho Prepare (29th Sep 1999)

IndigoEcho have been hard at work, stuffing amplifiers into church cupboards as they put the finishing touches to their debut CD release, One. The album will be available through Room 3 Records from the 17th December andthe band will be playing at Edinburgh's "Cas Rock" venue that night to celebrate. Initial reports are of a 90s rock album, following the trail blazed by the Stereophonics, Travis, U2 and Delirious?

IndigoEcho Enter Room 3 (01st Sep 1999)

Scottish pop-rock band IndigoEcho has begun work on their new album. The band will be recording over the next few months with Room 3 Records who have until now worked mainly with Nervous Passenger as well as completing freelance projects for other organisations.

Noel Richards in Scotland (18th Aug 1999)

Room 3 Records have taken over organisation of the Noel Richards Scottish tour next month. Check out their website for details of the three dates.

Room 3 Records Opens Virtual Doors (23rd Mar 1999)

Room 3 Records and Britlinks Design are pleased to announce the unveiling of the Room 3 Records website at http://www.room3records.co.uk. Room 3 Records manage Nervous Passenger and have recently completed work for Kingsway Music.

Nervous Passenger to Send The Light (24th Feb 1999)

Scottish pop-rocksters Nervous Passenger's album has recently been picked up for distribution by STL, the main distributor of Christian music in Britain. The album is receiving a very positive reception and has received a number of positive reviews.
