Dum Dums' New Album (28th Mar 2001)

As well as headling Greenbelt the Dum Dums hope that this year will see the release of their second album. The first release spawned four top 30 hits and with an increasing international profile they hope to surpass that with the followup. The Dum Dums will also be playing at a Unison benefit show in Manchester next month with Toploader, Catatonia, Idlewild and Wheatus.

Nia Returns (27th Nov 2000)

Nia finishes up her"Fall Tour" in the USA this week where she has beenpromoting her newest release "Secret's Of Life" and isreturning to the UK for a series of Christmasconcerts. Over the next few months she's involved inmissions trips to Armenia, Haiti, Honduras and Belize andwill follow these with a Spring tour in the USA, and more UKconcerts in April/May 2001.

Juliet Turner North American dates (04th Sep 2000)

After proving such a success at Greenbelt, Juliet Turner is off for a working holiday in the USA. While there she will be playing three concerts -- Arlene's Grocery, New York (9th September); The Living Room, New York (11th September); and Fremont Centre Theatre, S. Pasadena, California. Juliet plans to return to Ireland for some more gigs during the autumn before returning to the USA for two or three months at the start of next year.

Another New Festival Created (27th Apr 2000)

Creation 2000 is the name of a new festival planned jointly by the Edinburgh based promotion company PROScenia and Christian Aid Scotland for October 14th this year. They intend to use the event to profile the best music being produced by Christians in Scotland and raise money for Christian Aid\'s work in the third world. Andrew Coulton, the man behind the new festival has launched a search for artists to play at the festival and asks that anyone interested in playing send demos and biographies to the address listed on the festivals page.
