Bristol-based Steve (part of the NGM stable) have recently signed a deal with US CCM label Forefront. Not many details are available as yet, but the deal will see the band on the same label as american act Bleach whose arrival on the scene caused Steve to change their name (from Bleach).
NGM, home to Tomorrow's Girl, Steve and various other artists have just launched their new website. One:Lite's next release will be a 4 track EP, due sometime during the summer. The Abundant club are busy planning their summer ball -- they will also be hosting the club venue at Greenbelt. IndigoEcho are getting airplay during the indie night at one of Chicago's mainstream clubs -- check out our IndigoEcho giveaway.
Various bits of news have recently been announced by Bristol based New Generation Ministries, who support a number of bands. A track from drum'n'bass outfit Trip, "Cream Tea", has been signed by Good Looking Records, described by Trip member Andy Hunter as "one of the fore running drum and bass labels". Steve have just released a second EP made up of demo tracks they have been sending out to labels. Tomorrow's Girl are working on their debut album which they hope to release later in the year. Original member Sue has left the group to be replaced by Rachel.
Howard Jones recently announced that the new
New Generation Ministries have announced that they and their flagship band, dba, have parted ways. dba are on the verge of releasing their long awaited first mainstream single and best guess is that since NGM remains a mission based organisation their paths are no longer intertwined. Details of the single and new contact details for dba will appear here as soon as possible.
Popular euro-dance act, dba, are set to release their first mainstream single on the dtox label. More details as we get them.
