BottleRockit Join Touring Acts (04th Feb 2002)

BottleRockit are the latest band to announce a big tour. The band, who have recently become a four piece with the addition of a second guitarist, will be playing dozens of dates across the country over the coming months. They follow the example of Kato and Kindle who are currently in the middle of the "Welcome To Our World Tour". Dates for both tours are in our gig guide.

Kindle Complete Album (16th Oct 2001)

Yet more album news as Alliance Music announce that Kindle have completed work on their debut album. The album, recorded at Chapel Studios and mixed at ICC, was produced by Andy Harsant and engineered by Trevor Michael and is due for release in February 2002. Alliance are also dropping hints about an "enormous new UK artist" to be launched early next year. The only details available to date are that this has something to do with Movation Records (who've in the past brought us artists including The Tribe). We'll bring you more news as we get it.

A Few New Bands (23rd Feb 2001)

We don't normally run a news story on new bands added to the site, but there've been three new ones today and we're also looking for some help gathering information... First up is Maddy Leigh Blues Band who are currently recording an album with Meltdown Music. Another addition is Rif who are currently working on their second album which they hope to release this summer. And finally there's the Alliance-signed Kindle, featuring former Blueberry guitarist Dan Boreham. We're currently trying to track down up to date contact details for Bushbaby and Athlete (formerly Wondercub/Cub), so if anyone can help us out there, do drop us a line. Don't forget you can discuss these and other bands on our discussion boards.
