The Grassrootz Festival has had to move venue once again asa result of the recent Foot and Mouth epidemic but willdefinitely be going ahead on Saturday July 21st and MabledonFarm in Tonbridge. The festival organisers will be appearingon the digital TV "God Channel" on Wednesday night to talkabout the event.
The Grassrootz Festival has had to change venues to a larger more accessible site at Bewl Water Reservoir. This means that up to 1000 people can now attend the one day event, but unfortunately they can no longer offer camping facilities. The lineup has now been completed and will include Jube, Jonah, One:Lite, Cashu and Phatfish. There may be one or two more bands added to the bill at a later date, but no more bands are currently being sought.
The Grassrootz Festival is a new initiative from the promoters of the id event in Tunbridge Wells. Scheduled for July 21st next year, the lineup so far includes Phatfish, Cashu, Jube, and the band formerly known as Why?. The organisers are currently on the lookout for more bands to play and can be contacted by e-mail at id.event@virgin.net
