Dan Donovan Emerges (09th Oct 2002)

Dan Donovan confirms that we could be right in thinking that he had taken an early hibernation this year. His work at his design studio has borrowed his focus this summer but all is not over on the musical front. Dan has started working on a "session bootleg style" album and rehearsal and recording is now underway, with a view to some gigging later this year and early 03. Pas and Higgs from The Ghears are involved with the new project entitled Dan Donovan's Ga-Rage. He describes the outcome of this three piece as "pure fat and dirty garage (old style) guitar driven music". Independent Armadillo Records are putting out a compilation album this year and will feature 'kiss the star' taken off Dan Donovan The Hex The Ghears album.
