Cashu release debut EP (30th Nov 2002)

Cashu have just released their debut EP, Tow the Line. The four tracks are described by the band, who are the house band for Tunbridge Wells' ID event and the Grassrootz Festival, as "a mix of pop-rock interspersed with the occasional mellow offering". Audio clips and further information are available at the band's recently relaunched website.

Grassrootz Festival (13th May 2002)

The organisers tell us that this year's grassrootz festival is going to be bigger and better than last year's huge success - around 2000 people are expected to attend this year's one day festival in Kent on 20th July from noon til 10pm. Acts so far booked include YFriday, Steve, My BottleRockit, Cashu, My Kid Sister etc as well as poet Stewart Henderson and Escapologist Steve Legg, and there will also be a range of stalls and other activities.

New One Day Festival (28th Nov 2000)

The Grassrootz Festival is a new initiative from the promoters of the id event in Tunbridge Wells. Scheduled for July 21st next year, the lineup so far includes Phatfish, Cashu, Jube, and the band formerly known as Why?. The organisers are currently on the lookout for more bands to play and can be contacted by e-mail at id.event@virgin.net
