A full autumn programme is expected shortly at www.delicatessen-reading.org.uk.

As those who receive our gig guide e-mails will be aware, we've been helping to pull together a new series of events in Reading. Delicatessen will present a series of laid back acoustic shows from some of the finest acts from the UK and beyond. Dubbed "an evening of unusually good music", the first series of events kick off on April 23rd with sets from Cathy Burton and Airstar. Subsequent events will feature a range of acts including Iain Archer, Bill Mallonee (Vigilantes of Love), Dolly Varden, Four Storeys and Elan. For more details check out the website at www.delicatessen-reading.org.uk.
Our new featured album is the debut release from Airstar, UnseenForces. Airstar's music is delicate and acoustic, with the guitar work and great vocal harmonies constantly turning the focus onto the songs. As ever we have MP3s and RealAudio for your listening pleasure, and three copies of the disc up for grabs at www.britlinks.co.uk/album/.
Airstar is a new band featuring Harv and Prod of Flow-fame. The new band, whose music is apparently in the vein of Suzanne Vega, David Gray and Beth Orton, are beginning to make some live ventures, which can be found listed in our gig guide.
