5 guys from east kilbride. smuj produce the kind of intelligent pop-rock that seems to be very much missing from todays scene. With influences as diverse as Otis Redding to Radiohead, the band produce a sound that is unique. The band have been together for around 5 years, and in that time the music has developed along with the skill of the musicians. smuj now provide the kind of foot-tappin' funky tunes that make their live sound so exciting. With colin g's musicianship, mark's scorching guitar style, chris's bass melodies, colin p's exciting drumming, and scott's interesting interpretation of percussion, the band have developed a passionate core of fans, who appreciate the meanings and messages that are implicit in the band's lyrics. What is most important however, is the fact that this band is made up of 5 guys who think deeply, work hard, and have a whole lot of fun doing what they do...
