Britlinks flik

Band Photo

Bridging the gap between common perceptions and the actual truth, flik are a new sound made up of three Christian guys, who speak the truth through their own brand of alternative rock. Taking inspiration from the teachings of Jesus Christ, as well as a vast range of influential musicians and artists, flik have assembled their sound over the past two years. Flik's loud, raw, intense, passionate and very visual live performances have spawned some favourites among the listeners and new material continues to evolve and build upon the flik sound. Many people have tried to compare and place this sound among the current artists, so far unsuccessfully, though the band do mention blink182, linkin park, muse, linkin park and lostprophets while musing the question. And so, with musical freshness and a message for the world, flik are aiming here to shatter traditional views of Christianity.

Latest News: 19th Mar 2002

flik are currently recording their new ep entitled [project:wonderdisc], which will feature a number of new tracks written over the past few months. The band tell us that recent gig reviews have described the new material as: 'music that hurts as it heals' and 'extreme soul searching stuff'. They promise that mp3's will be available from their website as soon as recording is completed. The EP is to be produced and distributed through the independant 'bitingback' label.
