Britlinks Vivid Prophet

Vivid Prophet is aka Piers, a Drum and Bass fan from Surrey in England. He has been experimenting for years with sampling, effects and trying to push the envelope of his own creativity. Always pushing towards the edge! He is Classically trained in composition and Jazz guitar, studied audio engineering and worked as a studio assistant. Guitar/Keyboards/Samplers were his weapons of choice when he had a two year stint as lead guitarist in Jabberwocky a mixed up Jazz/Funk/Rock/Folk band. He has a real desire to create quality dance music as good as any mainstream tune, but which also has a Christian message and emphasis to it. The material is to reflect things that he has dealt with or that others struggle with. 'I just want to create some good tunes, which have a really amazing message and speak of the relationship you can have with Jesus Christ'.

Latest News: 30th Nov 2002

Vivid Prophet says he's had a great few months and has been working really hard. Their album @ Rest in God was released in September with some good press and stateside airplay following. He's now working on a number of new drum'n'bass/breakbeat tracks for his next release as well as looking to take the material into a live setting soon. There are MP3s on his website.
