Freddie Kofi
The music of Freddie Kofi is composed from a tapestry of deeply meaningful lyrics and mainly interwoven with warm acoustic threads. Freddie Kofi, the founder of Littlegiant is recognised as one of the UK's most established and outstanding singer-songwriters in his field. With his innovative approach and unique style, Freddie Kofi continues to be a breath of fresh air both in the UK and international music scene. Born in Nottingham, England, to Ghanaian parents, Freddie Kofi's main musical influences include artists such as BabyFace, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, James Taylor, and Gospel artists such as The Winans, Fred Hammond and Stephen Curtis Chapman. Since the beginning of his musical journey in 1991, Freddie Kofi, has also managed, in between extensive tours, to complete four recordings to date, including two E.P.'s and two albums. His first project, "The Searching For Love EP," happened as a result of Kofi starting his own label, Littlegiant (formerly Beulah Land Music). In a career spanning almost ten years, Freddie Kofi has been on numerous European and US tours. Kofi has also performed as support artist for top American, Grammy/ Dove Award winning artists such as Ron Winans (of The Winans), Hezekiah Walker, Jaci Velasques, and legendary Gospel singer-songwriter, Andrae Crouch, on his 1995 UK Mercy Tour at the Manchester Apollo. The accolades and numerous songwriter/performance awards received from established names within the international music industry are a true reflection of Freddie Kofi's sparkling talents, unique vision, and steadfast dedication to his work.
Delirious are to hit the road in the UK for their 2004 "World service" tour following the release of the hugely anticipated album of the same name at the end of last year. Dates include:
