Delirious?
As the Cutting Edge Band they released a string of worship songs which are still in regular use across the world, now as Delirious? these boys from Littlehampton are intent on taking their pop-rock into the charts. Delirious' music used to be described as chunky-pop and reminded a lot of people of early-mid period U2, but of late they've taken on a few more Radiohead influences and begun to experiment with other textures. Its a mixture that's so far taken them onto the BBC's Live and Kicking and on tour with Bon Jovi.
Delirious? have recently recorded a cover of U2's "Pride (In The Name of Love)" for a forthcoming American project to release a tribute album to the Irish band. According to Furious? records the album also features a contribution from POD, which hints that this tribute album may be appearing under some kind of 'christian' banner. The band say they are 65% of the way to completing recording on their new album which they hope to mix in July under the watchful eye of Nashville-based producer Julian Kindred who has relocated to the UK for a year to help get the album completed.
