Cliff Richard
When he burst onto the music scene in 1958, his raw teenage energy was a breath of fresh air, establishing him as Europe's first authentic rock 'n' roll star. His dad bought him his first guitar for his sixteenth birthday for the princely sum of £27. His life changed forever in 1958. Sudden and unexpected fame carried him along at a breathless pace. And that excitement has never left him, as each year brings its surprises and continued success. 'My biggest personal success of the sixties was going public about my Christian Faith, which gave my life true meaning - and even more music.' His classic pop tunes have delighted his fans for over four decades.
